After running out of my beloved Skinfood Milkshake Point Makeup Remover, I thought it was time to try something else. Unsurprisingly I gravitated to another love of my, mangoes. Therefore when I saw this charming little bottled, I knew my search was over. My favourite fruit and my makeup addiction? Perfect combination!
However to my great great disappointment it smells nothing like mangoes. Nothing!
Instead it smells lightly of chemicals(?). It's not an unpleasant smell but once again, nothing like mangoes.
Before use you have to shake the bottle to mix the two layers together which turns the remover into this pale yellow.

The bottle opening is wide enough to get products out easily.

I tested this on a variety of products to give a better idea of how its performance in removing different makeup products. Some are common day to day products like the Etude House BB cream and Revlon lipstick while others are a bit harder to remove like Kiss Me Heroine mascara, Holika Holika eyeliner and Stila liquid eyeliner. To test I place the makeup remover onto a cotton pad and placed it on top of my hand for 30-60 seconds.
As you can see, it managed to remove most of the products I had on my aside aside from the Stila and Holika Holika eyeliners. Though to it's credit those two are very stubborn, taking a great deal to get them off. Surprisingly it actually removed the Kiss Me Heroine mascara quite well. For those who's tried this mascara or heard of it, trying to remove this mascara is notoriously hard so this is quite the feat!
True to it's description the remover is very mild. It's not one of those that leaves your skin feeling irritated or dry afterwards. However one thing you should be cautious off, it does leave a noticeable white caste on your skin afterwards. The pictures don't capture it very well but it is quite obvious in real life.
In conclusion a decently priced makeup remover that gives some surprising results but does leave a white caste behind. Does not smell like mangoes!!
