Sailor Moon Star Power Prism Liquidliner

For a long while during my childhood, I was obsessed with Sailor Moon. The outfits! The romance! The fighting for evil by moonlight! Yes, I am listening to the theme song as I write this.

So when I saw the huge advertisements for eyeliners based on Sailor Moon outside SaSa, I screamed alot a little. Two of my  favourite things in the world combine as one, who can resist?  My failure to obtained this would be a disgrace to both Naoko Takeuchi and the Makeup Gods. It didn't even matter if this eyeliner was good or not, I had to have it. Luckily this lives up to its name sake!

This range of eyeliners is released as a homage to 20th anniversary of Sailor Moon. It comes in the colours Black, Brown, Blue and Pink. Mine is in Black.

The packaging for this is all kinds of frilly, girly pinky overdose. So adorable! The pen itself is again, very pink. It has 'Miracle Romance' inscribed on the actual pen. I'm not sure about anyone else but isn't it fantastically awesome that you can whip out your 'Miracle Romance' in the mornings??

The description says: "Creer Beaute SAILOR MOON Star Power Liquid Liner helps to draw very fine eyeliner which can be maintained 24 hours. Extra-fine brush with the tip of 0.1mm, easy to draw. Easy application and suitable for beginners to use, leaving the makeup pretty and special."

Yep. That's a extra-fine tip alright.

Because the tip is so fine, application is super easy. You can either do really small lines or press with the edge or brush and get some bigger liners. (Did that make sense? Just look at the picture.)

Pigmentation is very good. You don't need to build it up or anything, one swipe and the colour comes out solid black. The pictures don't capture it but they do have some sparkles. Not a huge amount, just mirco sparkles. But just like in the picture you don't really notice it unless you look really close.

Once this baby sets, it doesn't budge at all. Even rubbing it with water takes some rigorous efforts to get it to go away. But why would you? You have 'Miracle Romance' on your face!

As for longevity, I'll say you can wear this for at least 4-5 hours before it fades. But to be fair, I do tend to rub my eyes a lot so maybe it actually lasts longer than it did on me.

Now lets all look at really close up pictures of my eye!

Why do I have a black dot on my waterline?

Overall you don't even need to read this post to understand that you need a Sailor Moon eyeliner in your life. Like why don't spending time on this when you could be buying it right now.
