August Favs

Edit: I am an idiot.

It's already September which means, 3 more months and we're already in 2015. Figures I just start getting used to writing '2014' at the end of my dates and the year's almost gone. I actually had a August July favourites sitting in my drafts, which I was suppose to post, which I obviously didn't. August went by ridiculously fast. It's as if I blinked and now we're in September. But comparing my August July and September's August favourites, there really wasn't any change. I mostly stuck to the same products month after month. Anywho, let's start~

1. Skinfood Black Sugar Mash Wash Off

I love love this mask so much. I'm the first to admit, I'm a really oblivious person. Subtleness isn't my forte. That's why I don't like reviewing skincare. Most skincare often has a subtle effect over a period of time. I don't have the keen eye or patience to notice any of those. However this mask gives an immediate noticeable difference in the softness in my skin whenever I use it. Whenever I use this mask, I always have to resist the urge to touch my face non stop afterwards because of the amazing softness.

2. Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

The hype is real people! There's definitely a reason why this cleansing balm is so beloved in the beauty world. It removes everything but also very gentle. No stinging or red eyes if you happen to get it into your eyes. The price tag is quite hefty for a cleansing balm but you get a lot of product and only use a little bit each time. No longer do I have to stand in bathroom for minutes on end trying to take off my waterproof mascara.

3. Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream

BB creams are heaven sent for people like me who can't wait up in the mornings. There's no brushes or sponges, no mixing or setting. You pump out a tiny pea size amount, rub it on your face. Instant great skin in less than a minute, then out the door to run after the bus! For some reason this BB cream doesn't ever seem to run out either. It looks noticeably empty for months, yet I've used it for months and it's still pumping out product every morning.

4. Etude House Rosy Tint Lips in After Blossom

I've already said whatever's needed to be said about the Rosy Tint Lips line. After Blossom is just such a perfect colour for fall. I can apply one layer for a thin coat of colour, or apply more layers for a truly dark lip colour.

5. 3 Concept Eyes Lipstick in Bella

Bella Bella Bella, how can anyone not love you? Another Fall/Winter colour. I've been on such a dark lips kick this year. Even as we move into Spring, I'm still drooling over all the dark burgundy colours. Doesn't help that other parts of the world are moving into Fall so there's even more dark colours being released.

6. 3 Concept Eyes Gel Eyeliner in Black

Already expressed my love towards this eyeliner before. I'm still in love and no one can tear us apart because it's true love and we're meant to be. Forever and ever.

7. Real Techniques Fine Liner Brush.

Technically not a makeup item but this works so well with the 3ce gel liner. It'll be a sin not to feature one and not the other. They are a dream team that needs to be together every time.

8. Etude House Drawing Eyebrows in Brown

Another quick and easy product for the mornings. If I don't have time for anything else in the morning, I still make time for this. Incredibly easy to use and lasts the entire day. And it was only $2!
