Memebox Luckybox #9

Memebox is a new beauty box straight from Korea. Originally a Korean beauty box service, it launched a global version earlier this year. They offer a variety of beauty boxes including the memebox, the super box and the lucky box. Unlike other beauty boxes, memebox isn't subscription based so you have to buy each box individually. A hassle for people who don't want the extra trouble but an advantage for those who don't want to commit long haul and want to pick and choose what they want. 

So after seeing blog post after blog post, I decided to jump on the bandwagon. You know what they say, follow the leader and all. Plus I found a really great coupon. While this Luckybox was originally $30+ including shipping but I actually got it for $15 due to the coupon!

Y.E.T. Don't Worry Heart Beating (Nutrition) Mask Sheet 23ml

Y.E.T. offers a variety of 10 different masks, each catered to specific beauty concerns such as soothing, whitening, moisturizing, pore care, wrinkle care, and oil control. Again, each mask pack is enriched with natural ingredients like aloe, green tea, lemon, cucumber, cacao, and honey to target specific beauty concerns. 

How to use:

Place the mask over your face and rest for 15-20 minutes. Remove and pat in the remaining mask essence onto your skin. 

Randomly selected from 10 different masks. Y.E.T.'s products are always cartoon-y cute, this mask is no exception. Thought for some reason, I've never tried anything from this brand-until now. 

Awesome Aqua Whip Hug Foam Cleanser and Aqua Power Gel Cream

How awesome is this brand new. I giggle every time I read the name. Kinda disappointing they didn't give a full size version of these two products, the description sounds awesome. 

Recipe By Nature Spray Essence Water 140ml

How to use:

Spray on all over the face after cleaning the skin.

Tried this last night and feels really nice on the skin! Never seen a spray essence water before. Or maybe, never thought to buy one. These are one of the plus points of beauty boxes, you receive products you never considered trying before. This also has some pretty good reviews on the memebox site so even more pumped to fully test it out!

The Skin House Pore Control Powder Serum 50ml

Description:

This Pore Control Powder Serum works to immediately tighten and minimize enlarged pores for a smooth and matte skin texture. It also prevents skin's oil/moisture imbalance by maintaining it silky soft. 

How to use:

Apply a small amount of the serum your hands for full absorbance.

Never seen a noticeable difference with pore products, maybe this will do the trick?

Bocians Cycle Repair Whitening Spot 15ml

I was excited to try this on my pimple scars but this looks like its more for fine lines and wrinkles.

i belivyu Powder Wash Vitamin Face Cleanser 70g

How to use:

Take out a dime size amount of the powder wash, wet it and lather it well. Gently massage your face clean and rinse off. 

First time seeing powder wash! Obliviously they would exist but for some reason, it just never occurred to me that it would exist. Has a nice citrus smell.

Total Value: $112.72

The total value of the box was over $100 while I brought it for $15. If that's not the greatest deal ever, I don't know what is. Of the products I received, I'm really excited to test out the Powder Wash and Spray Essence Water. There were a few items in the box I would have never thought trying, or heard of before. But that's the thing about beauty boxes, you get to branch out of the normal brands and try out different things. Plus for the price of just one item, you almost always get double the value.

As always, Korea Post didn't disappoint me with their speed. The box was scheduled to ship on the 20th of August and I received it on the 27th of August. Just one week from Korea to New Zealand!

I brought the Lucky Box as a random shot in the dark to try out the whole beauty box thing as well as memebox specifically. Overall I'm happy with what I received and definitely want to try out more in the future!
