Tony Moly Kiss Lover Lip Master collection was released late last year and features 8 different colours containg 5g of product each. My friend help me purchased this while she was in Korea about a month ago. Similar to other multi purpose lip products that's been popular lately, these are toted as a tint, lip gloss and lip stick all roll into one. It claims are numerous, ranging from long lasting to matte, to moisturizing, to pigmentation and even contains crystal water(?).
Though my biggest reason for buying this, it's apparent similarities with the YSL lip stains. Being a cheapskate and having no money to throw at YSL because I am a mere peasant, I of course wanted to try the dupe. The comparison was spot on as the packaging was clearly inspired by YSL. The black cube design and the little peak-a-boo window in the middle. It screams, I am a dupe. From what I can recall, YSL's lip stains are much more sheer than this Tony Moly one and to build colour, you need to apply the stain in layers. However, I find that Tony Moly's doesn't need all those steps as one layer is enough for full on colour. And while YSL's lip stain retails at $59nzd, I got this for around $12nzd. Scoreeeee!

So what's the actual product like?
Upon opening the product, I was immediately hit with this artificial scent. You know those big rolls of bubble gum you brought as a child and they always had that fake fruity smell? That's exactly what this smells like. It won't hugely impact your lipstick/lip gloss experience but its note worthy for those that are sensitive to smells.
Aside from that, the product is really lovely. Its actually been one of my most reached lip products over the past month. Application is easy due to the wand. I was effy about the weird wand shape at first but following the instructions to outline with the tip and fill with the face, it works out to be an easy application. One thing to note, the wand doesn't actually carry a lot of product. I have to double dip to fill in both my upper and lower lip. Though that might be because of my larger lips?
Once applied, the product is very comfortable. I've truly never seen the point of lip glosses. Sure they make you lips glossy but they're also stick and uncomfortable. I've never worn a lip gloss for more than 10 minutes because I hate the way they feel on my lips. But this product has none of that horrible sticky-ness. Not that you can truly call this a lip gloss, though it does have lip gloss properties(?) What am I even saying....

What about claims?
I wouldn't label it a 'matte' product like the product claims, but really glossy and smooth. Thicker than a traditional lip tint but not full on opaque like lipsticks. The lip stick, gloss and tint description is actually spot on. Like many colours from this collection, the colour itself is more orange based red than a real red. Also true to it's claims, it does contain great pigmentation. I wore this for 3-4 hours without the colour slipping off. Of course eating will reduce the wear time but once it does, the 'tint' part comes into play, leaving a nice stain. I also found this surprisingly moisturizing. It doesn't dry out my lips nor does it accentuate any dry areas. Not so sure how I can even begin to test it's crystal water claims tho.....
Overall, I'm really happy with this lip product!
